This is where I spent the weekend last week.Myself and a friend flew out last Thursday had a great time at the winter Queenstown scrap camp organised by Lara Moss.
Very well put together with so many treats and such awesome company we enjoyed ourselves immensely.The Lakeland camp is stunning and the accommodation was fantastic. I must say a big thank you to Lara and Lara's husband Jason who cooked our A la ca rte dinner Saturday night superb meal and for their generous hospitality.
One of the highlights of the trip was getting to meet Lee and Bronny in person after talking to them for ever online and meeting Sharon,Sue,Nicky,Kim and Sally great laughs had by all.Last but certainly not least the lovely Andrea of SBO who carted masses of stock and wonderful scrapbooking goodies up to camp and also supplied some of the very special treats we got to bring home.
Talk about spoilt fantastic.
It was great to be back in Queenstown after so many years away and there have been lots of changes. We went into town on the Friday night to watch the opening of the winter festival spectacular firework display some of the girls had a hot chili chocolate to keep out the chills...
we even ended up taking the scenic route home via coach as the plane couldn't land 7hrs to CHCH and an all expenses paid stay at the Copthorne Hotel , we flew out Monday morning. Thank you Jet Star.
The only dampener is I am at home sick I started with the flu early hours of Monday morning and I must admit to not feeling to flash at all ,no its not Swine flu SOUTH ISLAND FLU !!!!.
